Charleston County Parks Foundation to host Sunset Harbor Cruise Oct. 15

SpiritLine Cruise: See the Charleston Harbor Like Never Before

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission’s (CCPRC) non-profit partner, the Charleston County Parks Foundation, will host a sunset harbor cruise aboard the Palmetto Breeze on Oct. 15. The event will raise funds for the foundation’s Park & Recreation Opportunity Fund.

The Park & Recreation Opportunity Fund is used to provide opportunities for members of our community who encounter various limitations to participating in CCPRC parks, programs and services. In addition to providing summer camp scholarships for local children, the fund also supports programs like Special Olympic Kayaking training and competition, inclusive dances, and Wheel To Surf adaptive surfing events.

Guests aboard the Palmetto Breeze on Oct. 15 will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and beverages including beer and wine, while taking in amazing sunset views on both Shem Creek and the Charleston Harbor.

Boarding will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Shem Creek dock located at 100 Church St. in Mount Pleasant. The boat will depart at 5 p.m. and arrive back to the dock at 7 p.m. Attire is casual.

Tickets are $75 per person, which includes food, beer and wine (ages 21 and up only). Tickets for the cruise are available at CharlestonCountyParksFoundation.org (direct link).
