CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Several holiday favorites make their return this weekend in time to get you into the spirit of the season.
Boone Hall’s Christmas Tree Festival is back this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. You and your family can enjoy an array of holiday activities. You can ride a holiday ferris wheel, make some Christmas crafts and decorations, take fun pictures in a photo booth and fill up on a holiday sweet treat. And if you’re still on the hunt for that perfect Christmas tree, Boone Hall is giving all festival attendees ten dollars off each tree. You can purchase your tickets online for $8 or pay $10 at the gate.
It’s time to be immersed in the magic of the season with tens of thousands of lights displayed at the South Carolina Aquarium at Aquarium Aglow. You can take in all the festivities from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. now through the end of December. Along with the light displays, you can enjoy nightly live entertainment and a variety of food and refreshments. Pick your time and purchase your tickets online.
The Holiday Festival of Lights made its return last weekend and will be here until New Year’s Eve. If you want to be a part of the early bird crowd, you can head to James Island County Park from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Find more information and advanced tickets at the event’s website.
Join in on the fun with the annual Sweetgrass Garden Oyster Roast at Sweetgrass Garden Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy oysters, music, beer and bonfire sunsets. The Smoking Pot will be providing the oysters, Low Tide Brewing will provide the craft beer, and The Blissful Whisk will provide warm soups and chili.
